Procrastination as an evolutionary survival trait

Good title eh?
One can only wonder how long it will take from start to finish to complete this entry, much less post it.

Well, I'm not going to tell.

Speaking of procrastination, I should probably get to the point of this post which is why leaving things to the last minute can be a good thing.

But, first, a show tune....

OK, OK. Look now, I've done a lot of scientific research on this. OK maybe not me actually but some other smart and not quite as lazy people have worked real hard on this and I'm sure I've read something about it somewhere and will, of course, follow up extensively to verify their findings, just as soon as I find the time.

Anyway, long story short. Smart people (I assume), valid research (I hope), procrastination (my favorite).

So, to finally get to the point. I had better hurry as I am on a library computer with limited time.

I know I should have started on this entry first instead of visiting the Girl Genius site and shopping for memory sticks shaped like food but they are real cool. Did you know that you can get an 8 gig stick shaped like a strawberry or a spare rib. And of course you can also get a disco ball that hooks up to your PC but that seems a bit stupid to me. I do so love the spy pens however. You know the ones that can take pictures or video and can hold like 18 gigs of files and oh can also write. I mean what's the point if it can't write. Then it's not really a pen is it? It's just a funky plastic stick that takes pictures. But it does write so that's OK then. I got one for my mom for Christmas. The spy pen that is, not the disco ball or the spare rib. I mean, who get's their mom a spare rib for Christmas. I mean, unless of course she really likes spare ribs, which she might...but I digress.

Research has shown... Oh drat!

That's the warning pop-up on the library computer saying I am almost out of time. Well, we will just have to pick up this topic in my next post. Which was to either address the question of can you sneeze in your sleep or do lizards enjoy licking their eyeballs or do they just do it because they have no Visine? Then maybe after that, we can discuss one of the eight books I am reading as soon as I get around to finishing one of them.

Either way, why don't you go ahead and send you comments and observations about procrastination so that I can copy, that is review, them for the next post.

Don't worry, you have time. I keep meaning to post to this blog at least three times a week but never seem to well, you know how it is.

PS
At least I'm doing better than the boy. He has three drafts on this blog and not one post so, yeah, OK, bad example.

PPS
I have one minute left so, before I run out of time, I want to leave you with one final but important thought. Let me just find my notes here... Oh yes! here it is. What if...
